CAA 1373 Pilot Logbook
Excel Pilot Logbook default headings and layout are based on the CAA 1373 Pilot Logbook. Refer Part 61.29 Pilot Logbooks – General Requirements.
Flight Hour Summaries
All of your experience totals are automatically calculated and summarised for each aircraft type e.g. Single-Engine PIC, Night, Dual, Multi Co-Pilot etc.
5 blank Custom Columns are included by default (you can add more) to track, for example: Instructing, Ag Ops, Aerobatics, Part 135 flying, Cross-Country or whatever you like.
Recency Monitoring
Takeoffs and Landings in the past 90 days (customisable) are automatically calculated for each aircraft type to help keep you current.
CAA NZ IFR Currency
Recent IFR Approaches and Instrument Actual / Simulated / Ground hours in the last 90 days are summarised for a quick view of your currency status.
The logbook will even tell you what date you are legally IFR current until based on CAA Part 61 currency requirements (by default) – these minimums and time periods can be customised.
CAA NZ Flight & Duty
Monitor daily, weekly and monthly Flight and Duty hour limits – customisable for pilots operating under different rule parts (Part 91, 121, 125, 135 etc.).
Limitations include easy to read colour-coded summaries, which alert you of any impending restriction violations.
